Rye Cafe

The not for profit Rye Cafe is part of “on the job adult learning” helping adults with learning difficulties to gain experience and qualifications, including food health and safety of course.

Six members of the local Friends Indeed network enjoyed lunch here on Wednesday - Chris would like to share this:

“We really liked the atmosphere and very good customer service we received, and the food was delicious, all made from scratch. We had already eaten enough with the meal deal, but the dessert of apple sponge and custard was so tempting that reader, we indulged! It was excellent value. Both tutors and learners welcomed us so well.

Please support this worthwhile venture as it is very easy to find near Five Lamps, from both Kedleston Road and from the main reception access off Parker Street. Please check by phoning that it is open (term time only) and if there are quite a few going it is useful to book ahead so they can reserve and set a table ready.

Enjoy! “
