Local Buses - funding removed

The future of the 17A bus service is uncertain after council’s initial vote was to remove the £9,000 subsidy it currently receives. The buses serve Allestree, Darley Abbey and run along Broadway before going into town along Kedleston Rd.

Some residents along the route are unhappy with the prospect of losing the service and contacted the Telegraph
