Six Streets is a vibrant volunteer-run community group, set up by people living in this area, to enhance the lives of local residents.

We aim to encourage neighbourliness and friendship and to reduce social isolation.

The core area is Bromley Street, Wheeldon Avenue, Statham Street, White Street, Park Grove, Parkfields Drive and the linking part of Kedleston Road.

We are an independent, not-for-profit, non-political and non-religious group.

SIX STREETS ARTS TRAIL 2026
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June

This is a fun and informal community event, celebrating the variety of arts, crafts and music in our local neighbourhood.

Do you want to take part as an exhibiting artist?
We welcome everyone, from flower arrangers to painters, those up-cycling clothing to making jewellery, poets to potters, textile artists and more. Only £40 per artist to take part, all proceeds going into running the event.
We will match you to the best host or to one of the community buildings taking part.

Click here for more info and complete your submission now (deadline 15th March).

————————————————————————————-

Do you want to be a host?
Many of our neighbours open up their homes or gardens to visiting artists. The artist works with you, and together you decide which space you would like them to use, and how best to display their work.
Your home is only open to those areas during the trail. The team will let you know which artist you are going to host.

Complete this form to help us match you up.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to talk things through before committing.

————————————————————————————-

We also want to encourage everyone who lives in the area to join in!

Perhaps you’ll decorate your front door or a nearby tree, run a pop-up café, put on activities or workshops, perform on the street or in gardens or you could volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to sell trail guides and document the days by taking photographs.

Please get in touch with us at sixstreetsartstrail@hotmail.com for further info.
