.Due to other commitments, many of the usual stewards are not available on the first Friday so to be sure of having enough people, the evetn is being held on the 2nd Friday this month.

It would be wonderful if any parents/other residents willingn to steward would get in touch so that if this sutuation happens again then we would have a back up crew ready to go

Playing Out is about Active Play ie children having more freedom than is usually possible given today’s level of traffi. The idea is to have fun - safely.

Next, it is about neighbourliness. All residents are welcome to come along and chat. If you have children with you, you are responsible for them throughout.

If this date is rained off/ unable to happen because of other extreme weather on the first Friday of the month, then the event will take place on the back up day, which is the following Friday. Or the next month when both dates are used.

As ever, we thank White Street residents for hosting especially those who choose to move their cars to provide more play space and those who arrive home while the children are playing but decide to park elsewhere until after the final whistle.
