The first Playing Out of the year was well attended by wide range of age groups (under 1 to just under 80) The sun shone for some of the time and the hail didn’t arrive until everything was cleared out with the chalkings on the road the only sign that anything had happened.

Thank You to White St people for hosting - especially those who moved their cars or hung back from driving in until after the children had gone.

The next session is in May. First Friday. Same time. Same place.

IF the first Friday of the month session is rained off/cancelled for other reasons, the second Friday will be the Playing Out date that month.

Playing Out is all about Active Play - ie children having more freedom than is usually possible given today’s level of traffic. The idea is to have fun - safely.

All residents are welcome to come along and chat. If you have children with you, you are responsible for them throughout.
