Six Streets Pavements

The council are going to be resurfacing the Six Streets pavements from 17th July. It ie expected to take about 5 days to complete. If you have information on any other street being worked on shortly then please get in touch

It will affect parking. Council says Please do not park on the footway on the day of work. From the video this includes wheels on kerbs.

They also ask that overhanging hedges/ vegetation be cut back in advance to allow the work to be carried out. And they do say that the new surface can take up to 2 hours to dry but should be OK for cars coming off our very few drives by an hour. So those residents may wish to park elsewhere.

The finished result will be like the pavement on Duffield Rd which was completed recently.
