Abbey Pub - Vigil

Information from Darley Ward Councillor Carmel Swan:

It is now three years since the historic bullding which is the Abbey Pub last opened its doors. This is despite campaigning , conversations with owners Samuel Smiths, supporting excellent candidates to apply for their proposed positions, involving Heritage England and looking at what powers the Council have to pressure the brewery to reopen.

Cllr Swan isn’t giving up on the hope that the building will be used again so is organising along with other Darley councillors a candlelight vigil on Tuesday 13th the December 6:30pm outside the Abbey. If you can join us, please do.
