Roadworks Continue - Ashbourne & Kedleston Roads

Kedleston Road, Allestree

Resurfacing work due to a carriageway failure on Kedleston Road at Askerfield Ave junction may cause delays. The work is set to take place from Monday, December 19 to Thursday, December 22 at the roundabout off Askerfield Avenue, which serves the newly built estate (Quarndon Turn)

Three-way traffic control will be in operation with the lights controlled manually by workers at peak times.

Ashbourne Road, Mackworth

Major work to resurface Ashbourne Road between Markeaton Roundabout and Markeaton Lane is set to start on Tuesday, December 13. So the main entrance into Mackworth estate - Prince Charles Ave - is affected.

It'll mean that traffic regulations are in place in the form of stop/go boards until 31st March when the work is completed - expect delays.
