Red Cross says "Thank You"

As many of you know, there is an easy way to donate to the Red Cross Food Bank thanks to Marie and Becc volunteering to co-ordinate a monthly Six Streets collection

This has been running for many years now and is much appreciated by Guy, the local Red Cross co-ordinator. He emailed this message in recently:

"I continue to be amazed by how the food donations from the Six Streets appear, as if by magic, in our garage each month!

It's such a tremendous project and a testament to the generosity of all the people involved but also to your organisational skills as it has been running for so long.

All of our service users (and also our volunteers and staff who distribute the food) are so grateful for your kindness"

If you would like to contribute food items, toiletries, seasonal goods etc to vulnerable people in Derby, then please check out the Food Bank page There has been a growth in level of need since Six Streets residents responded so well at the start of the scheme so new donations will be put to good use.
