Raynesway Waste Site - Changes to Booking

The council is changing how residents can access the HWRC at Raynesway. A t the moment, visits have to be pre-booked with any one household being able to make up to 12 trips each calendar year. The change being proposed is to remove the booking system on Sundays only from April 24th 2024. The site is open from 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. The idea is that the booking system stays in place on the other six days of the week so that people know they will not have to queue. The change is aimed at improving access for people with limited time to take recycling and waste to Raynesway and, hopefully, to reduce flytipping across Derby.
