Friargate & Ashbourne Rd: closed to June weekend traffic

The road closures will be in force between 7am and 10pm on the weekends of June 5 and 6, June 12 and 13, and June 19 and 20.

Friar Gate and Ashbourne Road will be shut to traffic travelling out of the city towards Markeaton Island and the A38 junction to allow resurfacing works to take place.

These are the final roadworks of the project to reduce roadside emissions in Stafford Street.
