Parking on Pavement

This photo was sent in with the following information.

It’s a car parked up right up on the pavement - right on top of the studded drop kerb by Newton’s Walk at the school. Anyone wanting to get past would have to go into the road instead of just crossing the gitty.

This was on Sunday afternoon - so is very unlikely to be a student! And nothing to do with the school run. It seems a resident or someone visiting a resident didn’t want to find a space further away and walk.

Parking is tight here of an evening but there are always spaces somewhere in the area.

I was told the police had been informed but obviously there may not have been anyone free to attend. It may be they just reminded the driver rather than give out a fixed penalty notice.
