Vandalism in Darley Park
The balustrade- ornamental stonework - in Darley Park has been destroyed on two separate occasions over the weekend with the stone columns being thrown in the river.
The stonework replaced the original feature around 10 years ago, and it is believed that the damage was first inflicted on Friday, July 8, and then the vandals came back to finish the job overnight into Sunday, July 10. No other areas of the park appear to have been vandalised.
No crime reference number has been publicised but if anyone has any information that may help then the police can be contacted here
