Planning application: Bromley Street
Update: Application has been refused.
If you would like to know more about a planning application that has been submitted for the parking area on Bromley Street behind the pharmacy then go to the council eplanning site and search either using Bromley Street or the reference number 22/01169/FUL
Please note the application is not connected to the pharmacy’s new owner Krishan
The application was submitted 20th July 2022 and is in the consideration stage. There are documents there so you can see what is involved in the application - architects’ visuals, plans, statements etc.
You can submit your views on the application to build 3 flats on the plot. According to the application it is only the parking space that is involved - the building will not extend to the rear of PointSix or the dentists. This proposal has statements in which it says how the application addresses the reasons the previous application was rejected.
The council only takes certain points into account when considering planning applications eg visual amenity (do the new flats fit in with the Edwardian architecture of the street) , the parking situation, any traffic generation & highway safety (Bromley St is in a School Haven zone)
