Book Exchange @Creaky Floorboard?

There was a high level of interest in Flavia’s idea of a

Six Streets Book Exchange

where you can bring along a book in good condition that you think others will enjoy, browse the shelf and take a new to you one home.

And then with one thing and another, the idea got parked for a while but … fingers crossed, it could be happening very soon.

You may remember the planning application to turn 179 Kedleston Road’s front rooms into a micro pub, well it is opening on

Sat 8th December.

James Woodman who is behind the application noticed the Book Exchange idea on Six Streets Facebook page and so as long as the meet up on Sunday goes well, it could be a matter of popping into The Creaky Floorboard to find a cracking good read.
