Guilty Verdict on Kedleston Rd Crash

A University of Derby student, Chloe Hufton, was killed on November 30th 2018 at the crossing near A38 bridge. The driver, Daniel Shepherd, has been found guilty of causing death by careless driving. He pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article.

Sentencing is to follow with the judge not ruling out a jail term.
