Aida Bliss Film Studio

The repurposing of the old Aida Bliss factory into a film studio and stunt academy could mean stunts being filmed in the next few days. The buildings at the back of the site are the first to be used and the necessary refurb has been happening in recent weeks.

In September, the council granted planning permission for the derelict site in Chester Green to be transformed into a film studio for a temporary period of nine months. Marv Studios is best known for films such as Rocketman, Stardust and the Kingsman franchise.

The firm wants permanent planning permission and aims to also use the site as a stunt training academy - the first such centre in Europe.
