If you are eligible to vote, then now is a good time to think whether you are on the electoral register because the govt has said that May’s elections will take place in a covid safe way.

The elections are for local councillors - there are 2 seats being voted on in Darley Ward - as well as Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

It may be that more people will be voting by post or naming a proxy voter than in previous years. If that applies to you then you can check out Derby City Council’s information page
