Seasoned Wood - free

Marie is clearing the back garden of the house she has just moved into and is offering some wood that has been stored in dry place for a very long time on first come, first served basis. She has not been able to check through the bin to see exactly what is there.

So if you get in touch- 6streetsderby@gmail.com - then it will be brought round to the front in Wheeldon Ave so you can safely collect.

Just a reminder: wood should not be burnt in an open fireplace as this is a smokeless zone - the law states that wood stoves need to meet certain standard in smokeless zones. Garden bonfires are not covered by smokeless zone law but Derby City Council is actively discouraging people from having bonfires during lockdown as there have been so many complaints and a couple of instances where the fire brigade were called only to find that it was a supervised bonfire ie a wasted call.
