Changes to Five Lamps Junction

After a series of incidents, there are changed designed to make the traffic flow safer.

Derby City Council says it expects new traffic lights to be installed at Five Lamps very soon but could not give a start date for when work would start, but said it expected the project to be completed within three weeks.

we expect the work to be completed within the next three weeks. “The work will take approximately 3 days, working outside of peak periods and some hours in the evening. "There will be no road closures. Minor changes to road marking will need traffic to be stopped for short periods, this will take place in the evenings.”
