Marie & Michele coordinate the collection of items to donate to the Red Cross. On the first Sunday of the month, around 30 households across the area donate. They then take everything into the Red Cross office so it can be distributed to vulnerable people living in Derby.
If you can, please drop your donation into the boxes outside 22 Wheeldon Ave and 112 Kedleston Road, there from the Thursday before to the first Sunday in the month at 3pm. Otherwise use the enquiry form here to get in touch and collection can be arranged. This form can be used for any questions you may have about the collection.
The Red Cross ask for a range of basic food stuffs, including fresh fruit and veg. Toiletries are also welcome as are seasonal items and items for children. Please make sure your bag is marked as such if it contains fresh produce.
