Food Bank Collection

  • 11 Wheeldon Avenue Derby DE22 1HN UK (map)

Marie & Becc coordinate the collection of items to donate to the Red Cross. On the first Sunday of the month, nearly 30 households across the area donate. They then take into the Derby Red Cross office before it is distributed to vulnerable people living in Derby.

If you can, please drop your donation to a box outside 11 Wheeldon Ave - it is there from the Friday evening to Sunday morning. Otherwise use the enquiry form here to get in touch and collection can be arranged.

They ask for a range of basic food stuffs, including fresh fruit and veg. Toiletries are also welcome as are seasonal items such as Easter Eggs for children. Please make sure your bag is marked as such if it contains fresh produce - or tell the person collecting it.

If you’d like to donate items to help vulnerable people in Derby in a convenient way pop a note into 11 Wheeldon Ave or email 6streetsderby@gmail.com
