This is the March walk that was rained off:

Date:                 Sunday, 28th April   
Meet:                 10.30 outside 75 Wheeldon Avenue
Car Share:         Is available on a first come first served basis. Prior notice of requests or offers is always helpful
Parking              Charges will apply so can everyone please bring some cash
Distance:            5 mile circular walk starting in the Churnett Valley and taking in the beautiful historic village of Alton
Terrain:               Rural pathways around a waterway, so terrain can be a little uneven in parts
General              Please be prepared for inclement weather and the odd spot of mud.
Dogs                   As always well behaved dogs on a lead are always welcome
Refreshments     We will have a break half-way around for a drink and a snack so please bring with you whatever you may need

The drive to Churnett Valley is apporox 45 minutes and takes us through beautiful countryside.  Everyone we have taken to this area have loved and enjoyed this alternative and close neighbour to the Peak District.  Although the rural pathway can be uneven in places, it is a lot easier than walking through waterlogged fields.
