As part of #OpSceptre this week, a national campaign to tackle knife crime, your Safer Neighbourhood officers will be outside Kedleston Street shops in the West End between 3-4pm today for residents to come along and have a chat or ask advice on issues in the community. 

Throughout this week of action, officers will be conducting knife sweeps in the local area, providing information leaflets to local residents on how to report and/or provide information to the police regarding knife crime, and attending local schools to speak to students about the dangers and consequences of knife crime.
