June’s walk is 5 miles from Shirley through the pretty village of Osmaston and Osmaston Park. It is often a muddy route with two gradual inclines. This walk is suitable for older children and adults with little ones in backpacks. As always, dogs are welcome - well behaved & on lead.

Osmaston Park is delightful in June with rhododendron, lakes and flower filled woodlands in its landscaped parkland.

There will be lunch stop so please bring your own food and something to sit on.

Meeting Place - 10.30am Shirley village off the A52 towards Ashbourne.

Drive past the Saracen’s Head (DE6 3AS) - where the road bends to the right, take the dead end to the left. The parking area is immediately on the left by the Public Footpath sign. It is free.
