Would you like to take part in the Advent Window display this year?

The advent windows have become a lovely festive tradition over the last few years and if you would like to take part you can either drop a note through the letterbox at 19 Statham Street with your name and contact details or email: 6streetsderby@gmail.com

The idea is simple; if you live in or around the Six Streets area you get a number from 1 to 24 and reveal your festive window on that date in December.  Designs can be simple or complex and there is no limit to the number of windows – when we have allocated all the dates from 1-24 we just start doubling up!

·         Lyndsey and Geoff will be hosting the Advent Calendar tea party at 19 Statham Street on Sunday 17 November from 3pm to 5pm where the advent numbers will be given out.  Don’t worry if you can’t attend on the 17th, you can still take part.

The only ‘rules’ are that you display your number in your window from Sunday 24 November, you reveal your display first thing in the morning on your allocated date and we ask that windows be left up until the end of the week after Christmas.
