University of Derby Students - welcome

The academic year has started with some students returning to the campuses. As always some students will be living in our area and so we wish them a happy and successful year.

Six Streets and surrounding areas are a great place to live - handy for the university, town and Sainsburys Local even has a new floor! If you are a student and need basic medical advice, Raj at Markeaton Pharmacy is fantastic.

Bin day is Wednesday and if you’re not sure what should go into your blue recycling bin and what is not allowed then details are on the council website

Off street parking is the norm round here and it can be difficult to find space of an evening. Residents without drives are used to squeezing into tight spaces to make room for neighbours.
