Concern for the trees @ Brook Medical

Fiona has been in touch to point out that a healthy mature tree was recently cut down in the grounds of Brook Medical Centre (next to Jonty on Ked Rd) which seems to have been in expectation of the car parking being changed there due to application to build flats.

She is concerned that other trees will be cut down. Information on the proposed car park changes can be found by using Ref. No: 18/01707/FUL at https://eplanning.derby.gov.uk/online-applications/ You can leave a comment on the proposal.

Update: apparently the trees are now subject to protection orders. Also some people are having difficulty submitting comments on council website. These can be posted (old style) or you could email James.Bathurst@derby.gov.uk for help
