Having been in there more often than usual because Six Streets volunteers are delivering prescription from over Allestree Lane way to Ashbourne Rd to Duffield Rd to the city centre, I have been struck by how lucky we are.

The staff are wonderful with the many older and vulnerable people who rely on them - whether they come in or only ever manage to phone in. Raj is unflappable even now when it must be so hard to source some medicines.

And they are remaining open (except from 1 to 2pm as reduced staff need a break and also to get prescriptions out quickly) with people observing the 2 metre rule.

This is on top of the usual support they give by hosting Six Streets grit bin and defibrillator (the staff carry out the regular routine checks which is so appreciated)
