Six Streets Meeting - decisions

There was a higher than normal turnout (think I was a better at organising it this time!) and a fairly new resident came and volunteered to take over organising future meetings … so a very successful meeting.

it was great to hear from Harriet - the new coordinator of Arts Trail who is working alongside Jane who started the ball rolling back with the 2012 one. Artists and hosts are beginning to register - details of how to open your home on the Arts Trail page

We also reviewed Hallowe’en and Advent Windows and we will work to make sure they happen again in 2019. We looked at how we can encourage new residents to be brave and come along to the At Homes as well as reaching out to people who may benefit from future support from Friends Indeed but don’t currently come to the Tea and Chats.

It was decided that the Spring/Summer newsletter will be delivered around the 7th April - so look out for more info about Easter, Arts Trail, Street Sale etc arriving on your doormat if you live in the core area or reading it here if the dog eats it or you live outside the delivery area.

Easter - new event planned for the 12s and over

It also became clear that after spending money on the defibrillator, Snow Patrol and with the upfront costs of the Arts Trail, we do need to raise money. If you have ideas, please get in touch - especially if they don’t need too much organisation (we are very busy as it is) or hordes of people (there aren’t really all that many of us)
