Darley Mills - bridge sections arrive

The work on the pedestrian bridge to connect Darley Mills with Darley Abbey was delayed by the Bank Holiday on Monday but sections of the bridge have been arriving on site ready to be craned into place. That lift is expected to happen on Friday with work next week being to make the bridge usable for walkers.

Timing is dependent on good weather with wind being a factor. The bridge is expected to open in early October.
