Great British Spring Clean

Derby City Council is offering support for any organisation which would like to join in the Great British Spring Clean which this year will take place between 15 and 31 March.  The council is offering gloves, binbags, etc.  In previous years this has included the loan of litter pickers.

Six Streets could ask the council for this support. In previous years, volunteers have found that the core area doesn’t provide many full bin bags so it may be more constructive to litter pick around Markeaton Rec area. Please get in touch if you have suggestions for GBSC

There is also the Great Big Green Week, 8 – 16 June in case that is a better time for your organisation. It could be that this is when Six Streets asks for council support - more details to follow!
