Good Neighbours Derby

Last year, there was an amazing response when we asked for volunteers to support neighbours who were going to have to shield or isolate. Six Streets groups joined with the council Covid Support scheme to offer shopping, friendly phone calls, meals and dog walking to people outside of our core area.

As this week is Volunteers week, I have received a card from the renamed Covid Support team - now Good Neighbours Derby - to say thank you to everyone who gave up their time. This may have been in response to emails sent out by Six Streets or you may have gone on quietly helping people you already knew.
