Breast Cancer in Men Awareness
A Six Streets resident diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer is doing all he can to raise awareness of the disease amongst men and to fundraise for the charity Breast Cancer Now so this Thursday he is taking part in a fashion show!
The first diagnosis came as a shock as Geoff had never considered breast cancer affecting him so he was glad of the support from Breast Cancer Now. He had been planning to run in the London Marathon this year to raise funds for the charity but the news that the cancer had metastasized made that impossible. A friend took up the challenge on Geoff’s behalf - read more and donate here
Geoff’s story has been in Derby Telegraph recently as he feels it is so important to get the message out about breast cancer diagnosis and living with the disease.
