Warm Welcome - Money Available

Information from Derby City Council - please share

Are you a voluntary, community, social or faith organisation working in Derby, able to provide a warm welcome to your community?

The Warm Welcome, winter asset programme will fund up to 40 organisations up to a maximum of £10,000.  The fund is open to community-based organisations or initiatives that can provide support to Derby residents experiencing hardship or difficulties because of the Cost of Living Crisis.

Your offer will need to include a warm welcome, hot drink, meal, help towards energy costs as well as help accessing other cost of living support or initiatives. Through the funding, we also aim to develop a community led cost of living network to provide collaborative collective support to all communities across the city which will be coordinated by Community Action Derby.

If you would like to apply, please complete the attached expression of interest and return it to Jonathan.dwerryhouse@communityactionderby.org.uk by Monday 21 November at 12 noon. Please note only electronic expressions will be considered

The initiative is one element of the Household Support Fund (HSF) which offers help to Derby residents facing financial hardship by providing grants and other financial support. The funding is provided to us by the Department for Work and Pensions. Details of the fund can be found here https://www.derby.gov.uk/advice-and-benefits/benefits/household-support-fund/#page-1
