Children's Coats Appeal

Derby City Council have launched a Warm Coat Appeal, to ensure good quality warm coats are available for the children of Derby this winter.

The appeal, launched this week and running through November, aims to collect and distribute winter coats to help families who may be struggling with the rising cost of living, and their children to stay warm and reduce waste by encouraging people to share the coats they no longer use rather than throwing them away.

The nearest drop off place is the council house - simply give any coats to the staff standing near the door.
