Darley Mills Bridge: Update
The Environment Agency has nearly finished clearing the debris next to the bridge over to Darley Mills. They will then be clearing the fish pass over at Darley Abbey weir.
Derby City Council is looking at the future of the bridge and is appealing for government funding to help replace the historic bridge that has been closed to vehicles for more than 18 months.
Please note: the bridge is owned by Crown Estates who have not collected the toll. Money collected in the past has been for the toll road through the mills. Crown Estates are not legally obliged to inspect, maintain, repair or replace the bridge.
