A38 - night time closure

A38 will be closed along several sections including Markeaton Island.

A38 Northbound from Markeaton Island will be closed from 8pm Wednesday, September 7th to 6am Thursday, September 8th.

And then again 8pm, Thursday, September 8th to 6am, Friday, September 9th.

The closures are being enforced so National Highways can carry out horticultural works along the road. The work will include cutting the grass on the central reservations and at the sides of the roads, picking up litter, emptying gullies and drains, fixing potholes, and any other bits of maintenance work that need carrying out.
