Statham St - road closure

Statham St is undergoing a month of construction works, which started last week. It is shut to through traffic while work takes place from outside No. 17 to the junction with Kedleston Road

The road closure is expected to be in force until Thursday, May 19, with a diversion route in place via Kedleston Road, Wheeldon Avenue, Park Grove, and the same in the opposite direction. The work is being carried out by Nottingham-based firm Vocon Traffic Management.

Statham St is open when work is not being carried out so should be open during Playing Out. The diversion means Wheeldon Ave will be busier than usual which may mean delays during the Safe School Zone closures on Bromley St.
