Repairs at Abbey Pub

The Abbey pub in Darley Abbey is a Grade II* listed building and so it is good to see that repairs are being carried out depsite the pub being closed for 3 years. Scaffolding has been round the historic building for over a week now; as it is a Grade II* listed building & scheduled monument, the repair scheme has had to be approved by Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

It is not clear what work is being done or that the owners are any closer to finding tenants so the business can re-open.
