Attempted Theft from Cars

As well as the details below, local social media posts describe similar incidents on Broadway as well as over in Allestree.

From Derbyshire Police:

We are urging motorists to make sure they lock their car doors after a report of someone trying car doors overnight in the Darley Abbey area. We would also remind people never to leave valuables in your car, especially in sight.

It happened on Darley Park Road at around 3.20am on Friday 19 February. Nothing was stolen and no damage was caused.
