Park Grove - potholes

A Park Grove resident contacted the council about potholes there. The Highways Dept have said that a slot is being booked for resurfacing work to be done in the school autumn half term holiday. This will involve a road closure order from Wheeldon Ave crossroads to Newton’s Walk.

This is because the street has to be completely clear of parked vehicles to allow the resurfacing machine to do its stuff. Once a section has been completed and tarmac has set, cars will be able to park up but if cars are blocking any undone section, then it will be 2021 before the machine can return to finish the job.

When a date is confirmed then I will put it on the calendar. It is normal for the council to leaflet before such work.
