A recent addition to the forum is a suggestion from Kristen of a simple way to reduce waste by facilitating giveaways.

So if you are going away and have surplus food that would otherwise go off, you can offer it up or perhaps you bought some other consumables then found you didn’t like them so rather than them going to landfill, they can go to someone else.

There is another giveaway channel aimed at giving away non consumable items - household and other stuff that is perfectly fine except that it is taking up space in your house, loft or shed that you would rather use for something else.
