Recycling Baby Food Packaging
The pouches baby food comes in are an example of hard to recycle plastic in that we can’t put them in our blue bins but they are recyclable.
Broadway Baptist Church is now a collection point for all brands of baby food pouches. The waste will be collected by Terracycle for recycling - it can be made into plastic furniture and such!
The funds raised will be donated to a range of charities.
It’s pretty simple, wash out the pouches and next time you’re passing Broadway Baptist pop them into the bin which is outside. It is clearly labelled Ella’ Kitchen though all brands of packaging are accepted.
