A Bromley St resident has been in touch about the break in at Markeaton News. He has been asked by police for CCTV footage and wondered if anyone has any but aren’t aware of the appeal. Or perhaps someone saw something that would help the police?
The incident was at around 5am Tuesday 18th Feb. I’m sure everyone will wish Trevor and staff well at a difficult time.
The reference number is 20*093540 and the name of the officer on the case is Detective Constable Rorry Head. The man, who is described as white and of average build, stole a quantity of cash, cigarettes and alcohol. He was believed to be wearing a hooded top and brown jeans, and had his face covered with a black scarf.
