Arts Trail 2021 - sad news

Every 2 years, a small team of volunteers makes a huge effort to organise the Arts Trail. This effort usually starts around 6 months before the event which means now.

However in the present circumstances, it does not seem that asking people to open their houses to the public is likely to work well. If any form of distancing is still in place then the event would not have the same atmosphere as in previous years. With this in mind, the organisers have decided to postpone the 2021 Arts Trail and look to coming back in 2022 with another fantastic event.

This is not what anyone would like to hear but it is understandable in view of the huge commitment needed well in advance of the Trail. Everyone hopes that come June, everything is normal again but to put all those volunteer hours and have to cancel would be heartbreaking.
