Christmas Presents - Donations needed

Long time resident of Six Streets (now moved a little way away), Jay is asking people to donate presents for children who will otherwise get very little this Christmas. Please read what she has to say and, if you can, drop something off to her collection box at Lenton Cottage, 6a West Bank Ave

It’s that time of year again, where we are asking for your kind support. This will directly help local children and families in Derby who will really benefit, from an extra bit of Christmas cheer this year.

We really do need your help to make this happen!

We ask that when you are buying a little something for your family and friends, if possible that you buy an extra little something for a child.

We would really appreciate any donations for male and female children, from the ages of 0 – 18 which will need to be NEW. This could include:

• Toys

• Books

• Games

• Sweets / Chocolate

• Toiletries

• Clothing

• Christmas tags and wrapping paper

Donations can be left at Lenton Cottage, 6a West Bank Ave from now until the 15th December. There will be a box by the front door for you to drop off anything donated.

We know that your contribution will definitely help to making a child’s Christmas a happy one.
