Derby Book Festival runs from Friday 4 November to Sunday 6 November with 12 great book-related events, all in QUAD, Derby. The Festival is held twice a year (the main Festival is from 19-27 May 2023) and is a registered charity

Autumn events include former Strictly contestant and TV presenter, Dan Walker, historian Dr Janina Ramirez, local crime writer Stephen Booth (Cooper & Fry novels), novelists Joanna Cannon (The Trouble with Goats and Sheep) and Sadie Jones (The Outcast), political journalist Simon Heffer, Royal Correspondent Valentine Low and author Sarfraz Manzoor.
There will also be a Book Fair with 30 stalls on Sunday 6 November at the Museum of Making from 11am – 3pm.
. As well as the two Festivals, there is also
a community programme which includes author events for all city primary and secondary schools at Derby Theatre and live streamed to schools
Shared Reading groups to support health and well-being in care homes and libraries,
Derby Children’s Picture Book Award (voted for by school children)
