Beckie Hudson, the council officer for Darley Ward, has been organising various Christmas Cheers activities. The latest is Carol Singing which we now know is allowed under covid rules. Ben Martin from St Alkmund’s Church is coordinating the socially distanced singing. Ben hopes to add Parkfields Cedars to the singing on this date. So if you live there - why not volunteer!

You don't necessarily need to be an amazing singer, just willing to sing out loud! The small groups will be singing in the streets below on the these dates:

Mon 14th: Handyside
Wed 16th: Duffield Rd & Broadway
Fri 18th: West End & Vic Streets
Mon 21st: Six Streets (hopefully Parkfields Cedars too - so please volunteer!)
Wed 23rd: Darley Village
Thurs 24th: Chester Green
