Hedgehogs & Pumpkins

Many of you will probably have disposed of your carved pumpkin/s but if not please spare a thought for hedgehogs! While a tiny amount of pumpkin is fine for them, if they can reach one left out then they may eat too much and suffer from diarrhoea. Autumn is a time when they need to put on weight - not lose it!

If you can, please compost your pumpkin - if you don’t have a brown bin, maybe a neighbour will take yours? Or maybe you know someone with an allotment?
